Extra Curricular Activities
There are a number of extra-curricular activities available on a weekly basis for children in the Juniors. At the moment there are clubs for football, cross-country, athletics, cricket, netball, drama, art and craft. Training for extra-curricular activities takes place at lunchtime or after school and is very thorough. Our aim is prepare the children to a high standard and hope that they perform to the best of their ability against children from other schools. We are very successful and have won many competitions in recent years in both Knowsley and Liverpool. Parents are encouraged to come and support. Another highlight of our extra-curricular programme is the annual residential holiday. In the past we have visited Colomendy and Llandudno. In more recent years the children have visited the Outward Bound Centre at PGL Shrewsbury. This is a marvellous huge mansion house and grounds in the open countryside where the children can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities that encourage independence and in equal measures – team building and co-operation.
