Nursery AdmissionsWe are very fortunate to have such an excellent Nursery with dedicated staff and beautiful, wonderful children. Very recently, the demand for places has outstripped the places available, and so we have had to agree the rules by which children will be admitted into Nursery.
The rules are called the "Nursery Admissions Criteria" and equip the school and the governors to find a fair way of knowing who to admit into school when places become available.
The Nursery Admissions Criteria is published below. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask Mrs. Bavin, the Assistant Headteacher for Nursery / Foundation Stage, who will be very happy to help.
Nursery Admissions Criteria
The Nursery Admissions Criteria will be applied three times every year: The three closing dates for admission will usually be as follows:
Letters of acceptance will be sent as soon as practicable after the closing date.
Any children not succeeding with a request for a place at the point of closing date will be carried forward onto a waiting list, which at the next closing date will have the admissions criteria applied.
