Admission To Reception

At Saints Peter And Paul, we are part of the coordinated admissions scheme which is lead by Knowsley Borough Council. This means that we have to apply very strict rules to the way we admit children into Reception.

If you wish to apply for a place in Reception, you will need to complete an Admissions Form which you will find in the "Knowsley Primary School Admissions"

Oversubscribed

We are very thankful that due to the dedicated staff, wonderful children and highly supportive parents, Saints Peter And Paul School is very popular in our community.

Our excellent Ofsted Inspection (Please click here) has further enhanced how people view our school.

The down side of this popularity is that the school has suddenly found itself heavily over-subscribed for intake to Reception classes. (Other classes are not so badly affected.)

Admission Process At Saints Peter And Paul School

We are legally obliged to follow the Admission rules according to our Admission Policies. Please see the links above for our 2008 and 2009 Admissions Policies.

If you apply for a place at Saints Peter And Paul and find that you are initially turned town, you are entitled to make an Appeal against this decision.

That means you will be allowed to put your case why you feel your child should be allowed to go to Saints Peter And Paul School to a small independent panel who have the power to over-rule the decision not to give you a place, and instead award you a place in school.
