SCHOOL UNIFORM:

This is our school uniform. We believe it gives the school a smart unique identity, encouraging a positive attitude from the children. This positive attitude runs right through everything we ask of the children in school life.

Supplier of Uniform:

Kids Kirkby, based in Kirkby Town Centre is the ONLY school uniform supplier we recommend.

Girl’s Uniform:

· Royal blue cardigan (plain or with school badge – please note no large logos of manufacturers)

· Pale blue polo shirt

· Grey skirt

· Blue and white summer dress.

· P.E. Kit: Royal blue leotard or white tee-shirt (plain) with royal blue shorts/athletics briefs.

· School sweatshirt (optional.)

· Plain white, grey, blue or black socks or tights

· Blue, black and white hair accessories are allowed (Not multicoloured.)

Boy’s Uniform:

· Royal blue jumper (plain or with school badge – please note no large logos of manufacturers)

· Pale blue polo shirt

· Grey trousers (short or long - according to preference)

· P.E. Kit: White tee-shirt (plain) with royal blue shorts

· School sweatshirt (optional)

· Plain white, grey, blue or blacks socks.

Shoes:

· Generally black shoes should be worn as “outside shoes”

· All children in the Infants and Juniors should have 'outdoor' and separate 'indoor' footwear, this will help to keep the school clean (children wear black pumps or trainers indoors).

· High--heeled shoes or platform (including “jelly type”) shoes are not suitable since they could form a health hazard.

Marking Clothing / Insurance

All articles of clothing must be clearly marked with the child's name. It is the responsibility of all parents to ensure that items of school clothing are covered by household insurance against loss and damage in school.

Jewellery:

Jewellery is not allowed in school. As a concession we are prepared to allow the children to wear one set of stud earrings (Not hooped - which can easily be pulled out) on the understanding that parents accept the risks involved.

Rings, make up (including nail polish) and second sets of earrings are not permissible.

Hair:

Normal hair styles are acceptable. We advise and encourage children with long hair to have it tied back.

Extreme hair styles and conditions ( eg shaved heads ) are not permissible.

Insurance:

Whilst everyone in school tries very hard to ensure that all children's property including clothing / uniform is kept safe and free from damage, we can accept no liability got any loss or damage,

Parents are advised to take out appropriate insurance to cover themselves against such eventualities.
